Dutch startup raises €10 million to Revolutionize Waste Management

Seenons, a Dutch startup, raises €10 million to Revolutionize Waste Management through its circular economy platform.

Seenons has successfully raised €10 million in funding from investors such as Invest-NL, CapitalT, Tablomonto, Swiss Post, and Shamrock Ventures.

With this funding, Seenons plans to enhance its technological capabilities and expand its platform globally. The platform’s primary purpose is offering waste collectors and processors a solution to reduce, reuse, and recycle materials effectively.

Organizations can conveniently segregate their waste and register it using the platform with just one click. The platform then connects each waste stream with the most efficient logistics partner to collect it and with processors and producers who can convert it into valuable materials. Throughout this process, the platform gathers data on the waste processed.

“We are very proud to announce that our company has successfully raised €10 million in a recent round of financing, even in difficult macroeconomic conditions. We would like to sincerely thank CapitalT, Tablomonto, Shamrock Ventures, Swiss Post Ventures and Invest-NL for their support and belief in our mission,” said Joost Kamermans, co-founder and CEO of Seenons.

“As Invest-NL we see the urgency to transform from a linear to a circular economy. Seenons’ platform is a key digital enabler for the circular economy connecting organizations with waste, logistic providers and processors to turn waste into valuable materials and products. As such, Seenons perfectly fits our investment strategy to support companies that accelerate the transition towards a circular economy,” explains Elwin van Rooijen, investment manager at Invest-NL.
