ERM, one of the leading sustainability consultancy in the world, has announced a new partnership with Persefoni, a climate accounting software company, to support organizations in accelerating their efforts towards meeting the goals of the Paris Agreement and transitioning to net zero emissions. ERM will provide advisory and delivery services for decarbonization in addition to Persefoni’s Climate Management & Accounting Platform (CMAP), which helps organizations collect, measure, report, and manage carbon emissions.
Persefoni’s Software-as-a-Service platform offers a single source of truth for carbon data across an organization, enabling them to manage their carbon transactions and inventory transparently to pursue their decarbonization goals and meet climate disclosure expectations.
ERM provides comprehensive services for organizations’ decarbonization journey, including planning, target-setting, strategy integration, and reporting. This partnership builds on the existing collaboration between ERM and Persefoni, including joint client work and thought leadership initiatives such as a survey on climate-related disclosure costs and benefits, which informed responses to proposed rules by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
