Sustainability Report 2022: SATO aims to be a forerunner in sustainable housing

SATO aims to pioneer sustainable housing in its Sustainability Report 2022.

SATO’s ninth consecutive sustainability report, prepared in accordance with GRI guidelines, details the organization’s sustainability efforts in 2022. SATO Corporation, one of Finland’s largest rental housing providers, is an expert in sustainable rental housing. SATO owns approximately 25,000 rental homes in Helsinki, Tampere, and Turku.

“SATO is one of Finland’s largest rental housing providers, and therefore we can have a significant impact on sustainable housing. As long-term housing investors, developer, and owners, we can make sustainable decisions in our properties throughout their entire life cycle,” SATO CEO Antti Aarnio says.

SATO participated in the national energy-saving campaign because it was critical to ensure a steady supply of electricity and heat production during the heating season. The Sustainability Report of SATO can be found at: https://www.sato.fi/fi/vuosikertomus-2022 .
