Scott Bader (Wellingborough, UK) has been awarded a gold sustainability rating by EcoVadis (Paris, France), a provider of business sustainability ratings. In addition, Scott Bader was ranked in the top 4% of all international organisations evaluated for sustainability.
Scott Bader has increased its sustainability rating from Silver to Gold as a result of its commitment to reducing emissions by 60% by 2025 and becoming carbon neutral by 2028, as well as the implementation of further measures to report on environmental management, the introduction of an annual Sustainability Report, and the implementation of green energy at its sites.
With the World Land Trust, Scott Bader offset its scope 1 and 2 emissions for 2020. It has pledged to do so annually until carbon neutrality is achieved.
EcoVadis is reportedly the world’s largest and most reputable provider of business sustainability ratings. It has created a global network of over one hundred thousand companies rated in over 175 countries and 200 industries.
The performance of Scott Bader was evaluated using 21 metrics grouped into four categories: the environment, ethics, labour and human rights, and sustainable procurement.
