EcoVadis, the global leader in business sustainability ratings and intelligence, recently expanded its partnership network and unveiled a suite of new audit service offerings, a strategic move designed to significantly enhance client value and streamline complex compliance requirements. The announcement centered on major collaborations with two globally renowned leaders in testing, inspection, and compliance: SGS and QIMA. This expansion introduced a layer of on-the-ground validation to EcoVadis’ trusted digital sustainability assessments, providing clients with a more holistic and actionable framework for managing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks across their global supply chains. This development positioned EcoVadis to better address the escalating demand for verifiable sustainability data and comprehensive due diligence in an increasingly regulated business environment.

“We are excited to provide additional support to the EcoVadis ecosystem using our large network of more than 800 expert auditors. This partnership will allow us to offer our specialized audit expertise to a broader client base while collaborating with a company that truly understands the power of strategic partnerships,” said Neil Willings, Global Head of Sustainability and Supply Chain at SGS.

Complementing the SGS agreement, the new offering also included a powerful partnership with QIMA, a global leader in supply chain compliance and quality assurance. “For QIMA, partnering with EcoVadis aligns with our vision to empower responsible, transparent supply chains globally. We take pride in helping EcoVadis members on their sustainability journeys and transforming their values into actionable practices,” said Anouschka Jansen, Sustainability Director at QIMA. By collaborating, QIMA helped EcoVadis members move beyond theoretical assessments and translate their sustainability values into verifiable practices through on-site inspections, quality assurance, and certification services across consumer products, agri-food, and life sciences industries.

This enhanced suite of services was introduced at a critical juncture for global business. Companies of all sizes, including over 150,000 businesses that already relied on EcoVadis, were facing mounting pressure to comply with new regulations. The new audit offerings provided a mechanism for these businesses to reduce GHG emissions, perform vital human rights due diligence, and improve overall performance across their value chains in a verifiable manner. By integrating the physical verification services of SGS and QIMA with its digital sustainability intelligence suite, EcoVadis empowered procurement and compliance teams to efficiently drive resilience and streamline regulatory reporting and compliance across 250 industries in 185 countries.

Strategic significance lies in the creation of a single, unified ecosystem capable of meeting the full spectrum of modern sustainability requirements, from digital risk mapping to physical on-site verification. This model moved beyond simple scoring to offer end-to-end, integrated solutions. By leveraging the audit capabilities of world-class partners like SGS and QIMA, EcoVadis solidified its position as the central platform for embedding sustainability intelligence into every business decision globally. This expansion not only enhanced the reliability of supply chain data for its clients but also established a new benchmark for ESG compliance and due diligence, ultimately accelerating the collective journey toward sustainable growth and positive global impact.
