Sisal, one of the leading online operators in Italy and a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment plc, has been awarded Gold in the EcoVadis Sustainability Ratings for 2023. In addition, silver was awarded to Sisal by EcoVadis, a reputable business sustainability ratings agency, for the second consecutive year in 2021.
The assessment conducted by EcoVadis considers 21 sustainability criteria in four primary areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Sisal scored 72 out of 100, placing it in the top 96%. Sisal made significant changes in key areas, such as obtaining 97% of its electricity from renewable sources and implementing actions and policies to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and business ethics.
Sisal’s achievement of Gold in the EcoVadis sustainability rating demonstrates its commitment to fostering more sustainable, responsible, and inclusive communities and markets in which it operates.
In addition, it outlines Flutter’s Positive Impact Plan, which includes a strategy to help coworkers work more efficiently by fostering dynamic, inclusive, and equitable workplaces. This demonstrates that Sisal is taking significant measures to address environmental impact, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
