In FY22–23, Infosys, a prominent player in digital services and consulting, has been recognised as a leading performer in various global industry assessments and rankings related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG).
Infosys has emerged as the top-ranked company in the CRISIL ESG Leadership Rankings and has secured a spot in the CRISIL Sustainability Yearbook for two consecutive years. Furthermore, Infosys was awarded a ‘AA’ rating by the MSCI ESG Assessment in 2022, which evaluates companies worldwide based on their ESG performance, including managing financially relevant ESG risks and opportunities.
Regarding climate action, Infosys has taken a leading role in driving it across its operations. As a result, the global environmental non-profit CDP recognised the company’s efforts, including Infosys on its annual ‘A List’ for the seventh year. The CDP’s recognition is a testament to Infosys’ climate action endeavours, including risk management, mitigation initiatives, transparent disclosures on emissions, and emission reduction initiatives across the supply and value chain.
Infosys has maintained its position on the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI), a well-known sustainability benchmark for corporations, for the sixth consecutive year in 2022. Moreover, Sustainalytics, a reputable independent ESG and corporate governance research, ratings, and analytics firm, has recognised Infosys as a top-rated ESG performer both industry-wide and regionally in its latest Company ESG Risk Ratings for 2023.
EcoVadis, a globally recognised rating platform for sustainable procurement and corporate social responsibility, awarded Infosys a gold medal for its CSR practices in 2022. This recognition marks Infosys’ seventh year as an EcoVadis Gold recipient.
