Content Guidelines

Effective date: June 2026

These guidelines apply to all content submitted to ESG Broadcast through the Broadcast Your ESG channel. They should be read alongside our Editorial Policy, which governs how our editorial team handles, verifies, and publishes content.

Submitting content to ESG Broadcast is taken as confirmation that you have read and agree to these guidelines.

Our editorial standard

ESG Broadcast publishes intelligence briefs anchored to verified facts — regulatory filings, exchange disclosures, published sustainability reports, and primary data sources. Every piece we publish must serve a reader who needs accurate, actionable ESG information. That is the standard against which all submitted content is assessed.

We do not publish content that exists to promote, advertise, or create a favourable impression of an organisation without a substantive disclosure or factual development to anchor it.

What your submission must include

Every submission should contain:

  • A clear identification of the disclosing or reporting organisation
  • A link to the primary source document — a SEBI filing, MCA notification, exchange announcement, published sustainability report, or official regulatory document
  • Your name, organisation, and role, and your relationship to the subject matter
  • The date on which the source document was published or filed

Submissions without a verifiable primary source will not be considered.

Accuracy and attribution

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit. Do not submit content that:

  • Misrepresents facts, figures, or the content of the source document
  • Attributes statements or positions to organisations or individuals without a verifiable basis
  • Uses forward-looking language as if it were established fact
  • Reproduces content from another publication without attribution to the original source
  • Has been submitted simultaneously to multiple publications without disclosure

If a submitted fact later turns out to be incorrect, please notify us immediately at [email protected]. We correct errors transparently and promptly.

Conflicts of interest

Disclose your relationship to the subject matter. If you are employed by, advising, or commercially engaged with the organisation whose disclosure you are submitting, say so in your submission. We may publish this relationship as a disclosure note alongside the brief.

Do not submit content under a false identity or on behalf of an organisation without their knowledge and authorisation. Do not receive undisclosed compensation for submitting content to ESG Broadcast.

What we will not publish

ESG Broadcast will not publish content that:

  • Is promotional in nature without a substantive factual disclosure to anchor it
  • Makes ESG ratings, scores, or rankings of any specific company — we are not an ESG Rating Provider
  • Reproduces a press release verbatim without independent editorial treatment
  • Contains information sourced from confidential, insider, or non-public channels
  • Violates the copyright or intellectual property rights of a third party
  • Contains personal data about individuals without their consent
  • Is defamatory, misleading, or likely to damage the reputation of a person or organisation on the basis of inaccurate information
  • Promotes or glorifies harm to individuals or groups
  • Is contrary to verified public health or safety guidance

Editorial independence

ESG Broadcast's editorial decisions are not influenced by the identity of the submitting organisation, its commercial relationships, or its size. A disclosure from an MSME receives the same editorial consideration as a disclosure from a Nifty 50 company.

Submitting content does not guarantee publication. We do not enter into agreements to publish specific submissions, and we do not accept payment in exchange for editorial coverage.

Changes to these guidelines

ESG Broadcast reserves the right to update these guidelines as our editorial model evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a revised effective date.
