CropX Acquires Acclym to Strengthen Supply Chain Sustainability Data for Food Companies

Digital agronomic solutions provider CropX Technologies has acquired crop supply intelligence company Acclym, expanding its platform to help food and beverage companies meet sustainability and regenerative agriculture commitments across global supply chains. Acclym's technology covers more than six million hectares across 39 countries and already serves clients including Nestle, General Mills, and McCain Foods.

Founded in 2010, Acclym provides agricultural intelligence solutions using augmented on-the-ground data, satellite monitoring, AI, and predictive analytics to enable food and beverage enterprises to measure and achieve sustainability goals and optimise supply operations. The acquisition marks CropX's seventh, following its 2024 purchase of nitrogen sensor company EnGeniousAg and 2023 acquisition of Australia's Green Brain. Tel Aviv-based CropX adds Acclym's 15-year track record of supply chain intelligence to its agronomic farm management platform.

The transaction responds to growing pressure on global food companies to demonstrate measurable sustainability performance across fragmented supply chains and to meet ESG reporting requirements such as CSRD's value chain disclosure obligations. Field-level data from platforms like Acclym is essential for calculating Scope 3 agricultural emissions, tracking regenerative practice adoption, and providing the audit trail investors and regulators increasingly require. The agriculture sector accounts for a significant share of global greenhouse gas emissions, making supply chain data a critical tool for decarbonisation.

CropX said the combination will broaden its reach into enterprise agriculture and build digital infrastructure for a more resilient and sustainable food system. For India, which is the world's largest milk producer and among the largest producers of sugar, wheat, and rice, the emergence of field-level agricultural sustainability data platforms carries direct relevance to the ESG reporting obligations of listed agri-food companies and the BRSR supply chain disclosure requirements under consideration by SEBI.
